4th Times Always a Charm

Jelly was out of town spending time with other men this weekend, and with my busy schedule and all, I recently realized it’s time for another monthiversary. All of you may not celebrate every monthiversary, but I like to. It gives me an apparent reason to be romantic and spend money on the girl I love, but recently I’ve downsized the spending and started to save it for much needed other things so for now, I’m keeping it simple and sweet; after all, money isn’t everything.

All weekend, I walked into Jelly’s room for various reasons. Living a street down from each other, we’re at each other’s house all the time so I tend to occasionally leave things there. But every time I happened to walk in to her room, I left a note on the mirror. Just short things like… “I miss you”, “I thought of you today and it made me smile”, “Wish you were here,” things like that, except now you can’t see the mirror. :D Since I opened at the DX all this week, and Jel’s dad gets up early to save people’s lives and what not, I was usually in her kitchen every morning at 6am cooking breakfast since Jels wasn’t home to accompany her dad before he left for work.

Jels got home early this morning and I figured she was tired so I let her sleep. I wasn’t sure if she even remembered our monthiversary, but that just makes it that much more a surprise.

She woke up around two this afternoon and walked in to her bathroom to find the sticky notes and a hot bubble bath complete with rose petals and lit, scented candles. Unaware that I was in the living room, once she was in the bath, I placed cut out arrows on the floor leading to the dining room table where a vase of four roses sat with a note saying “My house, 6 o’clock. Love, Dim”.

Six o’clock comes around and Jelly shows up at my house wearing the short purple dress I hoped she would find in her closet while searching for something to wear tonight. Dressed in my black slacks and dark purple button up shirt, I answered the door and greeted her with “I missed you.”

“I missed you too, even though I was hanging out with other…attractive…men.” She said teasing.

“Hmm… well, did those so called “attractive men” do anything like this...” I kissed her passionately.

She pulled back and smiled, shaking her head.

“Nope.” She answered.

“Good.” I said assured, “then I guess I won’t have to kick anyone’s ass tonight.” I smiled back.

“Babe, I told you…they’re married.” she said.

“Umm, have you met men? That doesn’t stop some of them.” She rolled her eyes at me.

“Especially with someone as beautiful as you, face it baby, you’re kind of hard to resist.”

“Is that right?” she said, while she threw her arms around my neck and kissed me.

“Definitely,” I answered, kissing her back.

After we finished eating, we talked for a while and then I got up to press play on the stereo. You're just too good to be true.” Can't take my eyes off you. You'd be like Heaven to touch. I wanna hold you so much…” Our song played in the background. I took her by the hand and asked her to dance with me. I held her close and softly sang in her ear.

“I love you!” I said, when the song ended, and once again I kissed her.

I had filled the fireplace with lit candles. We sat on pillows and blankets on the floor for a while, till I felt her breathing slow and looked down to see her eyes closed. I softly picked her up and carried her upstairs to bed. Holding her close in my arms, I drifted off to sleep beside her.

A Nightmare On My Street

I pushed myself further, feet pounding against the sidewalk. It was dark, very dark and the street lights were coincidentally forgotten tonight. Sweat fell off my face hitting the ground below me. I was terrified, but I had no idea why. I just kept running with the mind that I could never ever stop. I didn't even know where I was going, I just kept pushing forward.
Something caught my foot in the darkness, and I stumbled to the ground. I looked back to see what had tripped me. There was something bundled up on the pavement, lifeless and still. I bent down to look closer... brunette hair and deep brown eyes...it was my sister, Elena. Tears spilled out of my eyes falling on to her dead body. I fell to the ground in grief, screaming out loud sobs. I noticed something in my peripheral vision. I spun around to find another body laying in the street. At a closer glance, I recognized the face of Brooke. Just beyond her.....was Dallas, and then Soda and Pony, and later Johnny, Kit, and Steve. Everywhere I turned there were bodies...Carson, Dawn, Darry, Austin, Angela, Curly..... the entire gang was laying dead in the street before me, rivers of blood spilling out in to the horrific night. I looked up across the bodies and across the street, seeing Jelly's house in the distance. I glanced at the bodies again, noticing that her's was not among them. I broke out into another sprint, leaving my grief behind me to dwell on later. I kept running...but the house wasn't getting any closer, it clung to the furthest point in my vision refusing to meet me halfway. I forced my feet to dig in deeper but still the house remained planted where it was. I started to scream Jelly's name hoping, praying she was alive and could hear me. Before I could get her name out, something pierced my back sending me crashing into the pavement, then the darkness over took me.

I sprung up in my bed panting. Goosebumps tickled my neck and a cold sweat slithered down my skin. My face was stained from tears and my heart was trying to rip itself from my chest. Never had I ever had such a realistic vivid dream before. I wanted to scream, the fear was so real. I leaped out of my bed, threw on some sweats and a t-shirt and walked barefoot out my front door. Jel's house wasn't far, so I just decided to walk. Her porch light was off like I expected at four in the morning. I opened the door with the hidden spare key and quietly made it in to her room. I slid into her bed next to her. She moved a little but didn't wake up. I slid my arm down across her waist and pulled her close to me. I immediately felt better and eventually was able to drift off to sleep.

A Day for My Girl

I had the day off today, and who better to spend it with than my favorite person in the world... Jelly. I got up at seven to shower and get dressed then I headed to Jelly's house. Her dad was getting ready for work so he let me in, and he let me borrow the kitchen :D. I put the coffee on and then cooked breakfast... chocolate chip pancakes, strawberry muffins, bacon, french toast, and omelets stuffed with cheese, sausage, and hash-browns. It took almost two hours to cook everything and while I cooked Jelly's dad and I had a very nice conversation. No he's not the type that drills you on how you plan on supporting his daughter or plan on marrying his daughter or if you want kids or anything like that, he is actually a very nice, funny guy and a great father.
I'm not marrying Jelly... yet!!! But as of right now I am adopting her dad as my father-in-law because my dad is a screw-over and a douche bag and I haven't seen him since I was twelve :/ So Jels i'm adopting your dad. =D Anyways... Jelly was still asleep, like I hoped she would be. I sneaked into her room and softly kissed her lips. Her eyes peaked open as I whispered "Surprise!" She blinked and smiled back. She looked quite sleepy...
"I went to sleep four hours ago.." she said, and started to close her eyes again.
"Well that's just too bad..." I said as I scooped her up in my arms and began to carry her downstairs.
"You can sleep later." I smiled.
She perked up once she saw the feast downstairs.

After five cups of coffee and two plates of food, Jelly got dressed and met me back downstairs.
"So, where are we going?" she asked.
"Where ever you want to go. This is your day." I informed.
She had to think for a little while until she finally came up with an answer
"The Beach!"
So, we drove four hours to Osage beach in Missouri. It's technically a lake, but they still have a beach ;)

We swam of course, and yes we made a sand castle. Jels also berried me in the sand and luckily didn't leave me there. We got some snow cones, had a picnic, and pissed people off by making out on the beach XD. I just hope there weren't any little kids around (PG-13) ;)

It was a nice day. Better than I hoped for. We drove back and both hopped in the shower. Then after literally three minutes of laying in my arms, Jelly fell asleep.

Baby Sitting

Elena and Jake went God knows where today so I was stuck babysitting Jasalin and Damon.

After breakfast and and changing shirts three times from the food slinging, we spent a day at the zoo. Morgan works there so we get in free anyways. We entered the zoo and the first thing Jasalin ran to was the zebras. Those are her favorite. Every time we go to the zoo we spend about half our time just starting at the striped horses.
Damon likes the gorillas so next we went there. Entering the monkey house, we pulled up to the first glass window where the baboon was sitting just on the other side. Damon reached out from his stroller like he could touch it. I had Jasalin get beside him to take a picture.
We turned to the middle of the monkey house where there's a canyon type thing where the gorillas are kept. Damon reached up for me to hold him because he couldn't see over the wall. He screamed and clapped his hand at the sight of the hairy beasts.
After that it was about lunch time, so we found the McDonalds and ate happy meals for lunch. Just before we were about to head on, Jelly called me and I told her we were at the zoo and that she should come. Jasalin and Damon played with their happy meal toys while we waited for Jelly. She showed up about twenty minutes later and we started over for the fish house. The first thing you see when you open the door is the penguins. Jasalin was screaming and running up to the glass dragging Jels along with her. Another Kodak moment. =D We passed by the dolphins, polar bears, otters, and aquariums. Taking many pictures and making goofy memories. We stopped and got some ice cream before going behind the scenes and petting the animals.
It was a great day. I felt like they were really mine and Jels kids ;) and I loved the idea of that. I will definitely tell Elena that Jels and I will baby sit more often.
